Beyond the horizon of the place with green pastures.
There she was, this rare breed of gal soon to be a woman.
Laying under the trees. Reading her book, sipping on her wine.
She was a tornado of roses with beautiful long hair.
Always wearing earthly colors just like her soul, yet her heart is made of gold.
Truth is she didn’t need a king who would slay her dragons because she did that on her own.
She needed a king that reminded her she was a queen.
However, her heart was wild and it’s just what I needed in order to set mine free.
She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
She understood her worth, which made her powerful.
Little the times we made eye contact but every time we did we could not resist but to smile to each other.
One day, I didn’t see her, nor in the forest nor in town,
I, without knowing I realized I had lost something that was never mine.
Just like that, the years passed by I truly never forgot her, somehow or something would always remind me of her.
She was a once in a lifetime woman, an outlandish gal.
A tangled mess of silky string and all I wanted of life was to untie her knots.
But after all this time, I decide to back to the spot where I would admire her from afar
This time just to appreciate the trees and afternoon.
There I was laying on the grass. Little that I know.. she was back.
There she was, all of a sudden, walking through the field, wine in one hand, book in another.
I could not believe what my eyes were seeing.
It was her. The wildflower in a garden full of roses.
She had changed.
She came back with a new mindset, a new soul.
The gal that once cared way too much.
No longer cared at all.
